Barcelona’s Season at Stake in Next Two Matches, According to Xavi

Xavi Hernandez, the manager of Barcelona, has stated that the fate of the club’s season hinges on the outcome of the next two matches.

Currently, Xavi’s team trails behind La Liga leaders Girona by eight points and is seven points adrift of second-placed Real Madrid.

Barcelona will face Real Betis in an away match in the league on Sunday, followed by a Copa del Rey quarter-final against Athletic Club in Bilbao on Wednesday.

Xavi expressed, “The upcoming games will significantly impact the season, especially the results against Betis in La Liga and Athletic in the Copa.”

“Athletic is an opponent we didn’t desire in the Cup, but we are ready to compete. However, our focus is on the Betis match. The course of everything at Barça will be determined by the next few days. It’s always the same,” Xavi emphasized.
