The Nigerian player, Victor Moses, marked his first appearance for Inter Milan in a thrilling 2-1 victory against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia match held at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, which has a capacity of 50,000.
Inter Milan’s goals were scored by Candreva and Nicolo Barella, while Martin Caceres found the net for Fiorentina. Moses, initially on the bench, replaced Antonio Candreva 16 minutes before the end of the game.
Inter Milan, having won the Coppa Italia seven times, with the last title in 2011, will compete against Napoli across two legs from February to March for a place in the final, facing either Juventus or AC Milan.
Moses, who joined Inter Milan on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, put in a promising display in his debut match.
