Pathetic state of a primary school in Kebbi where pupils sit on bare floor (photos)

The Bayan Tsaha Model primary school in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, was highlighted in a Facebook post by Muhammed Mubarak, where he shared photos of the school’s dilapidated condition, revealing that the pupils sit on the bare floor.

The post narrated Mubarak’s visit to the school and expressed disappointment in the state of the buildings. He also referenced the state governor’s promises to prioritize the education and health sectors, calling for the government to intervene and improve the school’s standards.

Subsequently, after an SSA to the state governor disputed the photos, claiming that the school was in good condition, Mubarak revisited the school to take additional photos, emphasizing the deficiencies in the school’s infrastructure, including the absence of proper seating and boards in some classrooms.

The pictures taken during the revisit portrayed the poor conditions of the school, showcasing the lack of adequate facilities for the students. This emphasized the discrepancy between the reality of the school’s condition and the claims made about its good state.

The images captured during Mubarak’s second visit serve as visual evidence of the challenges faced by the school and the urgent need for interventions to improve the learning environment for the students.
