John Okafor, the ailing Nollywood actor, can count on the support of former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani.
On Wednesday, the veteran comic actor took to social media to seek public assistance in his battle against an ailment that may result in him losing his leg.
Okafor revealed that he has been hospitalized in an undisclosed hospital for several weeks.
The video shared by him on Instagram has garnered a wide range of reactions from sympathetic individuals.
In the 8th National Assembly, Sani represented the Kaduna Central Senatorial District and expressed his deep admiration for Mr Ibu.
“Mr Ibu is my favorite artist and comedian. He brings joy and entertainment into the homes of millions of Nigerians.
“We will not abandon him; we can collectively find a solution. We will take necessary steps and bring the attention of influential figures to do what needs to be done,” Sani assured.
