Havertz praises Arsenal teammate for impressive cross in latest victory

In a recent Premier League match, Arsenal’s Kai Havertz expressed admiration for his teammate Bukayo Saka, whose assist helped secure a 1-0 win against Brentford, as Mikel Arteta’s team continues to make strides in the league standings.

Notably, Saka executed a spectacular cross from the right flank, leaving Brentford’s defense in disarray.

Havertz, left unmarked, successfully headed the ball into the net from close range at the back post, ensuring a vital victory for the Gunners at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Reflecting on the match, Havertz shared with Match of the Day, “These late winners are satisfying, especially celebrating in front of the fans; it was a great feeling for sure.”

He further added, “The cross was amazing, and I thought, why not make this run, and the ball was perfect, resulting in a goal for us.”

Arsenal’s triumph over Brentford propelled them to the top of the Premier League table, with 30 points from 13 games.
