The Commissioner of Police in Katsina State, Sanusi Buba, has affirmed the capture of a suspect linked to the murder of the state’s commissioner of science, technology, and innovation, Rabe Nasir.
Earlier, it was reported that Mr. Nasir was fatally attacked in his residence at Fatima Shema Housing Estate, Katsina, shortly after the Asr prayer on Thursday, December 9.
Addressing journalists at the crime scene, Mr. Buba stated that the police have initiated an investigation into the case.
Buba revealed,
“As you can see, we have successfully evacuated the corpse to the hospital and investigation has started. An arrest has also been made. A suspect has been apprehended, and the investigation has commenced.”
