Today, January 18, the trial of social media celebrity, Ismailia Mustapha aka Mompha continued at the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos.
Last week Monday, Mompha was rearrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on fresh charges of money laundering and retention of alleged proceeds from crime. Read here. Following this, he was first re-arraigned in court on January 12.
Prior to this, Mompha had been standing trial alongside his company, Ismalob Global Investment Limited, on charges brought against him by the EFCC.
