La Liga, the professional football division of the Spanish football league system, has extended their congratulations to the Super Eagles for leading their group in the African Cup of Nations.
The congratulatory message, conveyed in pidgin, was posted on Instagram along with a photo of the Super Eagles players celebrating a goal.
La Liga’s message read;
We congratulate the Super Eagles for topping their group in #AFCON2021, and we wish them the best of luck in the knockout stage. Up Naija.
