Tragedy Strikes Abia Community as Woman is Killed and Others Injured by Alleged Invaders from Cross River

In Isu community, Arochukwu LGA of Abia State, Mrs. Blessing Kalu Elem met a tragic end at the hands of invaders believed to be from Ukwa community, Cross River State. Several other residents of Isu are currently fighting for their lives after being wounded by the Ukwa group. Many villagers have sought refuge in the bushes or fled to neighboring villages for safety. The root of the attack by the Ukwa people can be traced back to a dispute over land in Isu, Abia State, which is rich in limestones and other valuable natural resources.
