Primate Ayodele urges Tinubu to intervene in Rivers crisis
President Bola Tinubu has been called upon by the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, to step in and address the political turmoil unfolding in Rivers State. The aim is to prevent a potential outbreak of violence.
Expressing concerns, Primate Ayodele cautioned that failure to manage the crisis effectively could result in political assassinations and bloodshed.
In a statement released through his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele advised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, to demonstrate maturity by halting the feud with Governor Sim Fubara. He stressed that engaging in such a conflict is inappropriate.
