490 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria

On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, Nigeria recorded 490 new cases of COVID-19.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC reported that 142 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 60 in FCT, 54 in
Bayelsa, 39 in Rivers, 37 in Delta, 30 in Oyo, 26 in Kaduna, 23 in Imo, 19 in Enugu, 17 in Kwara, 11 in Gombe, 10 in
Ondo, 8 in Bauchi, 7 in Ogun, 6 in Borno, and 1 in Benue State.

490 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria

Nigeria has now recorded a total of 17,148 cases of COVID-19. 5,623 patients have been discharged from various Isolation
centers across the country, while 455 deaths have been recorded.
