The police in Bauchi have apprehended a 27-year-old man, Mato Yohannah, for allegedly assaulting a 3-year-old girl in Ganjuwa Local Government Area. The spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
According to SP Wakil, Yohannah was arrested by the detectives of Ganjuwa Divisional headquarters after sexually assaulting the young girl. The suspect reportedly admitted to committing a similar offense previously.
The police have indicated that the suspect will be prosecuted for his actions.
