A distressing story has emerged of a 24-year-old lady, who described an incident in 2018 where she was taken to a location by a friend and subsequently gang-raped by seven men.
In an interview with Channels TV, the young woman, identified as Omowunmi, recounted the harrowing experience. She detailed how, upon arriving at the venue, she was coerced into consuming Tramadol and Codeine by the men before they took turns assaulting her. The perpetrators heightened the volume of the music to muffle her cries for help.
Omowunmi, who was a virgin at the time of the assault, expressed her desire for the perpetrators to face consequences for their actions. However, she also revealed that she had contemplated forgiveness due to the prolonged delay in seeking justice.
