The 2020 Golden Globes for movies and television were selected by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and held last night (Sunday, January 6th) in Beverly Hills. The event was hosted by Ricky Gervais.

Veteran director Quentin Tarantino was one of the biggest winners of the night, securing the Best Screenplay award for his latest film, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.

The Best Picture award was given to 1917, while Renée Zellweger won the best actress award for Judy, and Joaquin Phoenix emerged as the best actor for Joker, beating out Adam Driver and Christian Bale.
