15 Coronavirus cases in Bauchi state came from Cross River state – Governor Mohammed Bala

Governor Mohammed Bala of Bauchi state has revealed that 15 Coronavirus cases in the state originated from the “infection-free” Cross River state.

During a press conference on Wednesday June 10, Governor Bala expressed concern over the breach of the interstate travel ban, attributing it to the rise in confirmed cases of the disease in the state.

Governor Bala criticized the lack of accountability and failure to address the challenges posed by the pandemic. He highlighted the risk of infections in places of worship, particularly mosques, and urged for action to be taken.

This statement follows Governor Ben Ayade’s repeated assertions that there are no Coronavirus cases in Cross River state.
